I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). Previously, I spent five years in investment banking and private equity, followed by three years in development finance at IDB Invest (Inter-American Development Bank), where I joined the Young Professionals Program in the Infrastructure and Energy Division in Santiago de Chile.
I hold an MRes in Economic Analysis from UAB (Barcelona) and a MSc in Local Economic Development from the LSE (London). I have also done short academic visits at Columbia SIPA (New York), TSE (Tolouse), and FEA-USP (São Paulo). I grew up in Bogotá, Colombia.
Research interests: Contract theory and sustainable finance (main). Networks, industrial organization and environmental economics (secondary).
