About me

I am an Economics PhD candidate at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Barcelona School of Economics (BSE), where I received the Barcelona BSE-UAB IDEA PhD Track Fellowship for two consecutive years. Previously, I worked as an investment banker for 5 years, before moving to development finance at the  IDB Invest's (Inter-American Development Bank) Infrastructure and Energy Division in Santiago de Chile. I hold an MSc. in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Mres. in Economic Analysis from UAB. I grew up in Bogotá, Colombia.

Research interests: My main interest is sustainable finance, where I use techniques from corporate finance, contract theory, networks, and industrial organization. I'm also interested in Energy and Transport Economics.
